Originally destined to be a 750 Ago but the factory decided to make the Ago using the new 1000 engine so the spare SPR engine, clutch and gearbox units were fitted to standard F4750s chassis and sold as the SR. F4 1000 Sachs shocks, white-faced Agostini-signed rev counters, Gold coloured pipes and an SR plate on the fork yoke are the other differences from the 750s Evo. Last of the 750s.
