Summary
The America was based on the disk 750 Sport but altered to suit the US market with air filtration, indicators and a de-tuned but larger engine giving similar performance. Sold in Europe as the 800 S Super America. Sales reached only 540 and not the 3000 projected so this was the last factory MV. Some of the many unsold examples were converted to 850ss spec by the factory and others.
